Hi, I'm Khaled Aloofey ‘Alofi’. I’m from Medinah, Saudi Arabia- the 2nd holiest site in Islam, I’ve renounced Islam because its teachings are antithetical to that of secular and humanist teachings whose ideals are best exemplified in freedom of thought, the freedom to practice any religion or no religion, autonomy over one’s body, equality between the sexes and respect for minority, rule of law and separation of religion from government.

These ideals are not some lifestyle choices or slogans. They are non-negotiable, fundamental human rights that define the essence of what it means to be human. Without these values, no human can live in dignity and peace.

I'm happy to join the ex-Muslim community. It's been long overdue.
