My name is Leo, but my original name is Abdulrahman and planning to change it in the future.I was born in Saudi Arabia. I was raised as a Muslim. My mother was extremely religious and my parents were divorced when I was 4 years old and thankfully my dad the one who raised me. My father is an open minded person. Luckily, I was the only one of my siblings who did not raised with my mother because I am the youngest. I was so happy to live with my dad because never mind most of the thing that I like. I used to see my mother once a week. She is extremely religious which means everything is forbidden such as Music, wearing shorts or tanks even if I am a man. Can you believe it!!. Moreover, when I finished high school, my dad used to encourage me to go to the US to complete my Bachelor Degree which I earned. I lived in the US for 6 years and half. While I was Living in the US, I became an Atheist and it was the best decision in my life. When I finished my studies, I went back to Saudi Arabia which I have been persecuted in my country and really was close to death twice so I had flee to the UK. Lastly, I want to join you because I would like to share with you how Islam is oppressing people when it comes to leaving the religion.
