The religion of my family, which they choose to believe in is Islam. I, however was never convinced of the existence of a God even as a child. I dispute that I ever was a Muslim but society seems to believe it is possible to have a religion when you are a newborn baby and my family will always claim I was born a Muslim. For me the right to believe or disbelieve what one pleases is the most important thing. I have always been a convinced atheist and being recognized as one, rather than having people assume my belief, is the ultimate goal.
